The outlet reported that Ranveer Singh has also promised to give Farhan Akhtar’s production house Excel Entertainment a ‘stake’ in his next film. This is reportedly referred to as Pralaay, his next project. However, details about the final percentage of the stake have not been revealed as of now. It’s also important to note that neither Ranveer nor Farhan Akhtar nor Excel Entertainment have issued any notice on the matter.
What Is The Controversy About?
It all started after Singh’s exit from Excel Entertainment’s Don 3. This fallout instantly became public after reports of disagreements and delays were pushed. Previous reports claimed that the production house was asking for Rs 40 crores in compensation, claiming several expenses like pre-production, along with scheduling changes. They maintained that the groundwork was completed with the actor’s approval.
On the other hand, the Dhurandhar actor reportedly exited Don 3 due to his dissatisfaction with the script. He also had concerns over the project’s management, and as the matter got intense, the Producers Guild of India also stepped in to mediate. Reports also suggested that Aamir Khan also stepped in to resolve this conflict between the two, but he later dismissed all this. According to Bollywood Hungama, he denied any hand in this dispute.
