Everyone is excited for Bollywood star Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film Dhurandhar featuring R Madhavan. As the curiosity about the storyline of the film increases, the film’s newest title track is the perfect tease by the makers. Amid this, the makers have also confirmed that the film is based on real-life events, but they have not revealed the individuals or operation behind the story. And now, fans and the media are wondering if the film is based on India’s National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval or a renowned army officer. Read to know more about it here.

R Madhavan appears to play Doval in the film, while Ranveer Singh’s drastic makeover in the teaser has sparked speculation that he is playing a younger version of the NSA. However, the creators have kept the specifics under wraps, with no official confirmation.

Adding to the buzz, reports and social media chatter hint that Ranveer Singh could be stepping into the role of Major Mohit Sharma, a decorated Para Special Forces officer. According to Zee News, Sharma had conducted covert missions in Pakistan under the alias “Iqbal,” successfully infiltrating terror groups. He was posthumously honoured with the Ashoka Chakra, India’s highest peacetime gallantry award, after being killed in action in 2009 during an encounter in Kupwara, Jammu and Kashmir.
