Bollywood star Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has made a splash at the box office with its performances. The film is still one of the most talked-about topics weeks after its release. And while it’s receiving love from all over the world. It is still banned in six Gulf countries, like Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, due to its anti-Pakistan themes. Dhurandhar In Gulf Countries
This ban has prompted the Indian Motion Pictures’ Producers’ Association (IMPPA) to get involved. President Abhay Sinha told India Today that the association has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging him to intervene and help secure Dhurandhar’s release in the Gulf region. They said that they wanted them to watch the film so as to reconsider the ban. Reportedly, the letter has been sent, and they were hopeful for a positive outcome. Despite this ban, the film continues to perform strongly at the box office.
As per reports, the film collected Rs 4.75 crore nett (India) on day 34, showcasing a strong mid-week performance in the fifth week of its release. Industry associations are advocating for a review of the prohibition, but it remains to be seen if diplomatic and institutional measures would enable Dhurandhar to reach Gulf theatres in the near future.

During a conversation with the portal, casting director Mukesh Chhabra opened up about Akshaye Khanna’s reaction to playing Rehman Dakait in the film. While recalling their first meeting, Khanna stayed for four hours and quietly listened and smoked. Chhabra said that the actor loved the story and expressed that he had fun listening to it.
