The iconic Maratha Mandir theatre has also shifted the Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge timing for this!
About Dhurandhar 2
The film’s 3 hours and 55 minutes run time has been tricky for exhibitors since they can only fit about four shows per screen in a day. According to a report by Hindustan Times, multiplexes are allocating roughly four hours and forty minutes per screening, keeping in mind trailers, intervals, and time needed to prepare the auditorium for the next show. Due to the rise in demand, many theatres have been adding post-midnight shows for people.
In Mumbai and Thane, for instance, the weekend shows begin as early as 1:50 AM and continue till 11:30 PM across multiple screens. While such arrangements are not possible everywhere due to safety and operational reasons, such midnight shows will reportedly happen across the western and southern parts of India. Not just this, Dhurandhar 2‘s impact has also been seen at Mumbai’s iconic Maratha Mandir theatre.
They have been screening Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s iconic film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge for about three decades now at 11:30 AM. Now, that slot has been shifted to an earlier time to adjust to Dhurandhar’s long runtime. The theatre had previously done that for Allu Arjun’s Pushpa. Dhurandhar: The Revenge has already crossed Rs 35 crores in advance bookings.
