Supreme Court Gives Permission To Air Ranveer Allahbadia’s Show, Asks YouTuber To Maintain Decency

Ranveer Allahbadia found himself in grave controversy after making an uncomfortable statement on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent. The Supreme Court had also banned the YouTuber from airing his show, ‘The Ranveer Show,’ until further notice. They recently heard a petition filed by Ranveer Allahbadia, where he requested the SC to allow him to resume the show. The Supreme Court has allowed him to do so with some conditions. What Did The Supreme Court Say?

Ranveer Allahbadia had requested the Supreme Court to permit him to start airing his show again. The YouTuber also mentioned in the petition that the livelihoods of many employees depended on the show. The petition was heard by the Supreme Court, and some conditions were listed for the YouTuber while streaming his show, The Ranveer Show. The Supreme Court has strictly asked the YouTuber  Ranveer Allahbadia to ‘maintain decency and standards of morality’ in his show. They asked him to produce eligible content for people of every age group and further permitted him to continue airing the show.

For the unversed, Ranveer Allahbadia has passed a vulgar joke that involved incest with parents on the comedy show India’s Got Latent.  Many social media users, including celebrities, reacted strongly to the YouTuber’s comment. He even gave a public apology through a video on social media, where Ranveer Allabadia accepted that his joke was neither cool nor funny. Many FIRs and complaints were filed against him and India’s Got Latent creator Samay Raina.

The Supreme Court slammed Ranveer Allahbadia for his statements but asked the police not to file any FIRs against him.
