What Ranbir Kapoor Said
A video on the official Instagram and YouTube handle of Ranbir Kapoor’s brand showed him taking viewers on a tour of the factory and answering questions about ARKS. During this, he said that the manufacturing unit previously belonged to his brother-in-law, Bharat Sahni. When asked about how the name came to his mind, the actor said, “We started with because we just wanted to come out with the sneakers so it was a Ranbir Kapoor shoe.
So there were many different, meanings to it like a Ranbir Kapoor studio.” The actor revealed that the process came to a point where he just thought that the meaning would not matter, and this name just fit in. The 42-year-old was instantly drawn towards the name and the logo. This came as a surprise to all those who thought that the brand’s name had something to do with Alia Bhatt or Raha Kapoor.

Kapoor also reflected on how his perspective has evolved with age. He shared that his attachment to material possessions has reduced over time, with a growing preference for practical, timeless pieces like T-shirts and denim jackets that can be worn repeatedly.
