Ranbir Kapoor Bids Adieu To Ganpati Bappa With Mom Neetu In Visarjan Ceremony, Internet Asks “Alia Kahan Hai?”

It’s that time of the year in Maharashtra! Ganesh Chaturthi brings a lively and heartwarming vibe to the city, where people from all corners of the state celebrate this festival. Several B-town celebrities, like Shilpa Shetty and Salman Khan, celebrated this festival with the utmost joy and love. Like every year, this year too Ranbir Kapoor performed Ganpati Visarjan Puja as a part of their tradition. 

Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor Perform Aarti At Ganpati Visarjan

On Wednesday, September 11, Ranbir Kapoor was spotted performing the rituals with Neetu Kapoor as they bid farewell to Lord Ganesha. Ranbir Kapoor lifted the idol on the way to the Visarjan and then joined hands as the idol immersed into the body of water. Many videos of them performing aarti were shared on the internet. Both of them were spotted in beautiful traditional outfits. Ranbir sported a lovely white floral Kurta whereas, Neetu Kapoor opted for a gorgeous peach-toned suit. Even though Alia Bhatt and Raha Kapoor didn’t join them for the rituals they were watching them from their car. As soon as Alia saw the paparazzi recording them, she rolled up the car’s window and went ahead.

For the unversed, Raj Kapoor and his father, Prithviraj Kapoor, started the Ganpati Visarjan at their RK Studios in 1952. The filmmaker and actor was known for hosting all festivals in his studio with his family and staff members. On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in the blockbuster, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial, Animal. He will be next seen in Ramayana as Lord Rama, directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
