Ranbir Kapoor Doesn’t Care About Being Labelled As ‘Misogynist’. Maybe He Should For Once!
Ranbir Kapoor has frequently faced criticism for being labelled a misogynist and an unsupportive husband.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, one of Bollywood’s most beloved couples, have often been in the spotlight for their personal lives. While their relationship radiates warmth and love, Ranbir has frequently faced criticism for being labelled a misogynist and an unsupportive husband. However, according to his sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, neither Ranbir nor Alia pays attention to these perceptions.
In a recent interview, Riddhima shared insights into the couple’s approach to public judgment. She emphasized that Ranbir and Alia are deeply content in their relationship and choose not to engage with negativity. Their focus is on their family, particularly their daughter, Raha, who was born in November 2022. The couple, according to Riddhima, values their personal happiness over faceless criticism online and remains unaffected by trolls.
Riddhima also reflected on the couple’s decision to have an intimate wedding in April 2022 at their Mumbai home. She revealed that this choice was influenced by a desire to keep the ceremony meaningful and personal. The family had already hosted a grand wedding in the past, and Ranbir and Alia preferred a simpler, smaller gathering. For them, it was about celebrating their love with close friends and family who genuinely mattered in their lives. She noted how their intimate wedding allowed them to fully enjoy the event, unlike larger celebrations where the bride and groom often miss connecting with their guests. This decision also fulfilled the late Rishi Kapoor’s wishes for Ranbir to marry and for their family home to be ready, making it a bittersweet moment for the Kapoor family.
