The individual contrasted these films with older ones known for their meaningful storytelling, urging the industry to refrain from encouraging such releases.

He recognized the need to balance artistic exploration with social accountability.

The debate over Animal intensified after its release, with critics taking issue with its portrayal of toxic masculinity and graphic violence. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the action drama also faced backlash for its themes and depiction of relationships. Despite these controversies, the film’s ensemble cast, including Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri, delivered strong performances that were praised by audiences.
