However, the same seems to have happened with the Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi starrer Ramayana. After the makers held an event recently to show its trailer to a select few guests, the same clip reportedly started circulating online. However, the makers are not easily letting this go, as they have taken action on the same!
What Action Did Ramayana Makers Take?
As per a report by Mid-Day, on July 18, Ramayana Part 1 makers showed the trailer to a select few guests at the Pratham Sankalp event in New Delhi. Soon, the portions of the same started making their rounds on social media platforms. For the unversed, it is officially slated to be dropped on July 24. But the makers have already taken action against this! Director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra are working with the anti-piracy partners and legal team to remove the unauthorised uploads and issue copyright notices. A source shared that the takedown process has been underway since Saturday night, adding that it was pulled down from Reddit by the morning of July 19, but X remains more challenging.

As far as the leaked footage of the Ramayana trailer is concerned, it is being hinted that it was recorded during the Pratham Sankalp event in New Delhi. As per Mid Day’s report, the source revealed that the said leak appears to have originated from an attendee’s phone recording. It shows Ram’s entry sequence as well the scene where Ram agrees to honour his father’s promise to Kaikeyi. Now, we’re sure many are waiting for the filmmakers or the actors to address the same!
