Ramayana Producer Gives Major Update About Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi Film!

Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi starrer Ramayana has created buzz since its announcement. A glimpse of the Nitesh Tiwari directorial was shared last year, but well, fans have been expecting more. Reportedly, the first major announcement was going to drop on Ram Navami, but that did not happen. Now, the film’s producer, Namit Malhotra, has shared an exciting update. Read on.

Major Announcement About Ramayana

Ramayana also stars Yash, Sunny Deol and Ravie Dubey in lead roles. The film’s release is scheduled for this year, and fans have multiple reasons to look forward to this film. Now, producer Namit Malhotra’s announcement adds to this excitement. He took to his X handle to share an update about the first look of the film. In this note, he wished everyone on the occasion of Ram Navami and thanked everyone for their patience.

The note also acknowledged the responsibility of telling a story that was a part of everyone’s life. The note promised their own version of Ramayana made with devotion and care, scale and sincerity. The next glimpse titled ‘Rama’ is promised to be released on April 2, on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. The grand launch will be celebrated with the fans from across the world. Here’s the note.

Fans in the comment section wrote that they have been eagerly waiting for the film and were looking forward to the glimpse. For the unversed, the film is scheduled to release in October 2026, before Diwali. The music in the film has been composed by Hans Zimmer, which is another interesting aspect about it.
