Actor Sonu Sood took to his social media handle to pen a note in support of Rajpal Yadav. He addressed Rajpal Yadav as a gifted actor who had given some unforgettable work to the industry. Sonu Sood further added that life can turn unfair and talent was not a reason but it was just timing. He asserted that Rajpal Yadav would be a part of his film and also urged other producers and directors to stand with him. Sonu Sood stated that a small signing that could be adjusted in future was not charity but dignity.
Sonu Sood further said that he if someone from the industry is going through tough times, then the industry should remind them that they are not alone. Through this, they could prove that they are more than just an industry.

For the unversed, Rajpal Yadav was held accountable for a load that he had taken in 2010 for a movie that he wanted to make. However, since that did not happen, he could not repay the loan amount. The check bounced and the lender went to the court. The withstanding amount currently is around 9 crore, and on court’s order, he surrendered in Tihar jail.
