Rajpal Yadav Says Jail Needs To Be “Upgraded” After Getting Out On Bail In Cheque Bounce Case

The cheque bounce case involving Rajpal Yadav truly grabbed everyone’s attention. Recently, many were elated to know that the actor was released from Tihar jail on interim bail. However, after he entered jail, he realised that the country is in need of prison reform. Talking about the same, Rajpal Yadav also spoke about the importance of rehabilitation for prisoners. Rajpal Yadav Advocates Prison Reform
After walking out of Tihar Jail, Rajpal Yadav had a candid interaction with PTI during which he put forth an appeal. The actor stated that in India, we don’t know the difference between a respectable person and a prisoner. He noticed that prisons need to be upgraded in today’s time. The Hulchul star stated that there are prisoners who have already been convicted who don’t need to appear before the court and have been there for 10 years because of the mistake they made. He added that their behaviour and conduct have been observed over time. Further, the actor mentioned that if 10 per cent of them are released and rehabilitated, they could be a strength of the country and if they don’t change, the law spares no individual.

What Else Did He Say?
Rajpal Yadav revealed that he is about to complete three decades in Bollywood and acknowledged how the country stood by him, which was why he was able to make 200- 250 films. He further mentioned that the cheque bounce case dates back to 2012 and he has appeared before the High Court whenever he was issued orders. Rajpal Yadav added to the way the entire nation, the world and Bollywood have loved him; if he faces any allegation, he is available to answer. The De Dana Dan star also thanked the High Court for allowing him to be heard.
