Raja Chaudhary Says Shweta Tiwari ‘Changed’ After Earning Money. Calls Her ‘Illiterate’

Popular actress Shweta Tiwari had an ugly divorce with her ex-husband Raja Chaudhary. Now, in a recent conversation, the latter got candid about their separation and defended themselves against the claims of physical abuse. He went on to call his ex-wife ‘illiterate’ and said it was he who planned everything about their daughter Palak Tiwari’s future. Read to know more.

Raja Chaudhary On Shweta Tiwari

During a conversation with Hindi Rush, Raja Chaudhary questioned why his ex-wife, Shweta Tiwari, didn’t solve the matter between them instead of involving the police. When asked if she was the sole earning member of the family, he replied, “You could say that. She was earning more, and I was earning less. I was working too, but does that even matter? A man earns his whole life — the day a woman earns, she feels it was her money.”

He said that while women talk about having equal opportunities as men, they change as soon as they see money. Raja said that Shweta was poor and grew up in a chawl, and changed instantly as soon as she saw money. He went on to call her ‘illiterate’ and said that it was he who earned everything. He went on to say that it was he who planned his daughter Palak Tiwari’s future.

Raja Chaudhary and Shweta Tiwari got married in 1998 and welcomed their daughter, Palak Tiwari, in 2000. However, in 2007, Shweta filed for divorce, citing drunkenness and accusing him of domestic violence. Their divorce was finalised in 2012. Since then, Palak has been living with Shweta.
