After his solo performance, BTS was also scheduled to perform in Qatar, but Jungkook’s mandatory military service prevented it. This news disappointed many fans who were excited to see the group perform together in Qatar.
In a conversation with The Korea Times, the Qatar Tourism Chairman, Saad Bin Ali Al-Kharji, shared his regret about failing to bring Jungkook to Qatar last year due to his military duties. He expressed a strong desire to see Jungkook perform and stated how the singer’s presence could entertain audiences. The Qatar Tourism Chairman, Saad Bin Ali Al-Kharji, further added that Korean culture plays a big role in making Qatar a welcoming destination for families. The country hosts concerts, exhibitions, and festivals weekly, and a BTS performance would have been a major highlight.

For the unversed, Jin and J-Hope of BTS have completed their mandatory military services and are currently conducting solo activities. Whereas the rest of the members, Suga, RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook, will return in June. The excitement is higher than ever, and fans are counting days!
