In June, the man known as ‘Pyjama Man’ jumped on stage during Katy Perry’s performance and in August, he also crashed The Weeknd’s concert before security removed him. The ‘Pyjama Man’ also made headlines for crashing the men’s 100m final at the 2024 Paris Olympics. True to his nickname, Johnson Wen often wears colourful pyjamas or eccentric outfits during his stunts, making his pranks highly visible online.

At the Singapore premiere for Wicked: For Good, Wen approached Ariana Grande, who plays Glinda in the film, while she was walking alongside co-stars Michelle Yeoh, Cynthia Erivo, and Jeff Goldblum. Videos captured the man wrapping his arm around Grande and trying to pull her close as she struggled to get away. Johnson Wen later posted a video of the incident on social media, captioning it, “Dear Ariana Grande, Thank You for letting me jump on the Yellow Carpet with You,” followed by a heart emoji.

Following the Ariana Grande incident, Wen was arrested by authorities and is scheduled to be charged with public nuisance. If convicted, the influencer will face up to three months in jail, a fine of 2,000 USD, or both. He may also be deported back to his country and be debarred from entering Singapore forever.
