In response, the director made an inappropriate demand regarding her appearance for a film scene. He insisted that she should show her underwear and added that her underwear needed to be short enough for the audience sitting in the front row to see it.
Priyanka was left feeling both shocked and disgusted by his remarks. That night, she talked to her mother, Madhu Chopra and expressed deep discomfort with the way the director saw her. She felt that if he thought so little of her, there would be no room for her growth as an actress.
