Priyanka Chopra, Richard Madden Are All Praise For Indian Instalment Of ‘Citadel’. Here’s What We Know So Far!

The trailer of the sci-fi thriller series, Citadel, has everyone excited for the show. Starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden, this show is produced by Russo Brothers and their stamp on any project means that it is going to be a rollercoaster ride for the audience. To add to the excitement was the news that an Indian version of the show is also underway. On April 3, the Citadel press conference was organised in Mumbai which was attended by Priyanka and Richard. PeeCee gave an insight into what the audience can expect from the Indian version of Citadel. Here’s all that we know about the Indian show so far. 

Casting

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun have been roped in for the Indian instalment of Citadel. More details about their characters are awaited but they are definitely not going to play the same roles as Priyanka and Richard.

Connected instalments

Priyanka Chope dropped some teeny tiny bits of information about the Indian version of Citadel. She started by saying Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun are great actors. She said that she met Varun at the NMACC event, and he was telling her about how the shoot is going, and how exciting it is. Priyanka added that some cool threads connect the other instalments to her instalment.

Raj and DK’s spin on Indian instalment

The Love Again star gave out more deets by saying that once the audience starts watching the show they will realise how all the instalments are connected. Priyanka also showered appreciation on the makers of the Indian version of Citadel, Raj and DK, and said that are very talented and they are going to add their spin to the show. 

Each instalment is going to different

Richard Madden went on to say that each instalment is going to be different depending on which country’s version it is. He further added that everyone is going to find their version of the show. 

Smashing action scenes In Citadel

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been giving updates on her Instagram about the series’ shooting. She shared a picture of her injured hands once, and write that these marks are the perks of action.

We’re cannot wait for Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden’s Citadel to drop on Prime Video. It will be available for streaming from April 28.
