Priyanka Chopra Talks About Varanasi Dance Number!
During her conversation with CinemaBlend, Priyanka Chopra acknowledged that she hadn’t done an Indian film in almost six years, so when the filmmaker called her and described her character, Mandakini, Priyanka had one simple request! She asked SS Rajamouli if he would make her dance. The actress stated that she hasn’t danced for so long. The Barfi star then said that she should not have asked him that, adding “because we be dancing.” The actress further shared that her co-star, Mahesh Babu jokingly blamed her saying that it’s because of Priyanka; he had to do it too.

What Did Mahesh Babu Say?
During their chat, Mahesh Babu stated that it’s “sensational” and revealed that they have already shot one song, which just keeps playing in their minds. He also said that Priyanka Chopra keeps singing it all the time. The actor further said that the song happened because she wanted to dance and director SS Rajamouli made her dance.
As far as Varanasi’s details go, the film, starring Priyanka Chopra, Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is slated to release in 2027.
