Priyanka Chopra’s mother, Madhu Chopra, has often spoken about her daughter’s success as an artist and even her personal life. She recently addressed the old conversation around PC being replaced by Deepika Padukone in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s well-known film Ram Leela. The film also stars Ranveer Singh in the role. What Did Madhu Chopra Say?
Madhu Chopra addressed the old controversy and rumours about Deepika Padukone replacing Priyanka Chopra in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film. During a conversation with Lehren Retro, Madhu Chopra stated that she did not remember much since it was a long time ago. However, Madhu Chopra recalled her daughter, Priyanka Chopra, telling her about doing a song in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film. When she asked more about it, PC said that it’s only better if she is doing just a song.
She also added that Priyanka Chopra would have made a well-thought decision and had a nice discussion with him because things are good between them, and she is good friends with SLB.
Madhu Chopra also added that Priyanka does not have a revenge attitude or hold grudges against anyone. She further revealed that PC was doing a film directed by Omung Kumar only because Sanjay Leela Bhansali asked her to do so. She also spoke at length about the actor’s dedication towards her craft and added that Priyanka stayed with Mary Kom for a long time. She also revealed PC’s preparation for Kashibai’s role in Bajirao Mastani. She added that many times, PC would not talk to anybody inside the van and that sometimes, SLB is not an easy director to work with, and it’s important to please him with the performance.
