Priyanka Chopra’s manager Anjula Acharia has recently spoken about the treatment that she faced when she introduced the Citadel actor to the west. In one of the episodes of The Ok Sweetie Show, Anjula Acharia revealed that many people doubted her, and some also called her ‘stupid’ for introducing a “brown Bollywood star in America”. She recalled her conversation with Jimmy Lovine, the cofounder of Interscope Records with whom they had a signed a deal. Anjula Acharia revealed that she had opened up to Jimmy about people calling her crazy for introducing a brown woman to the west. To this, he had responded by saying that people labelled him with similar word when he was introducing a white rapper, Eminem! Well, that sounds so impressive
