Getting constantly trolled has become a sad reality for celebrities. With the anonymity that the internet provides, it has become increasingly easy for haters to say malicious things to celebrities without facing any real consequences. Most times, celebs let go of such incidents or ignore them. However, that is not what Prithviraj Sukumaran’s wife and film producer, Supriya Menon did, and we are all in her support! The film producer recently called out a troll publicly who had been writing malicious comments about her since 2018. Read on to find out more!
Supriya Menon took to her Instagram to share the troll’s display picture and wrote a long note addressing her. In her note, Supriya wrote, “Meet @christinaeldo. She has been passing nasty comments on most accounts which post something about me. She would constantly make fake accounts and post, and I continued to block her. I found out who she is years ago, but let it be as she has a young son. Even that filter she has on is not enough to hide the ugliness she holds inside and spews at me since 2018.”
While Supriya Menon did expose the troll, she did not reveal what she actually has been doing or saying. A report by ETimes says that troll, @christinaeldo, whose real name is Christina Babu Kurien, is a Malayali nurse who currently lives in the US.
Christina had reported making malicious comments towards Supriya Menon’s late father. The film producer had earlier threatened to take legal action against the troll; however, she did not mention that in her recent Instagram note.
Supriya Menon and Prithviraj Sukumaran got married in 2011. Supriya Menon was formerly a journalist and now heads Prithviraj Productions, a Malayalam film production house. The couple also welcomed their daughter in 2014, 3 years after their marriage.
