Prime Video 2026 Slate: From Mirzapur The Movie To Naagzilla, These Are The Must-Watch Shows And Films!

Prime Video’s 2026 slate is packed with sequels, surprises, and seriously binge-worthy new drops.

On March 19, 2026, Prime Video dropped its slate of series and movies to be released in the upcoming year. From female-led drama series to quirky youths in trouble, there is a lot to look forward to in 2026. The fifth season of Panchayat, the second season of Farzi, and more returning series have excited us, as have a slew of new content set to release soon. Read on to find out the shows and movies you must not miss from Prime Video in 2026.

1. Mirzapur The Movie

Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Duggal, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Shweta Tripathi and more returning for the movie version of the hit Prime series. It will be helmed by Puneet Krishna.

2. Khoya Mahal

Starring Varun Bobti and Aditi Rao Hydari, this series features the pair as half siblings who are forced to refurbish and manage their family’s remote hotel. With Konkana Sen Sharma and Jaydeep Sarkar set to direct, this one is bound to be a madcap adventure.

3. Matka King

Nagraj Manjule of Sairat fame directs this Vijay Varma and Kritika Kamra starrer series about a cotton trader from the 1960s who creates a gambling game,’Matka’ (pot).

4. System

While Sonakshi Sinha returns for Dahad 2, her outing with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari starring as a lawyer seems interesting too. The film will co-star Ashutosh Gowarikar (yes, the Swades one) and Jyotika too.

5. Mess

What happens when a man with OCD gets robbed? Mess attempts to answer this question, with a star cast of Pratik Gandhi, Ranvir Shorey, Gajraj Rao and Anurag Thakur. The film’s director is Rajesh A Krishnan.

6. Teen Kauwe

Sidhant Gupta, Bobby Deol, and Fatima Sana Sheikh star this show directed by Priyanka Ghose. The premise features a former spy who returns to seek revenge on the person who made him a villain in everyone’s eyes.

7. Vvan: Force of the Forrest

Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles, this movie features a supernatural twist as an ancient forest goddess must be appeased by the only man who can do so. Vvan will be directed by Deepak Mishra.

8. Call Me Bae: Season 2

Ananya Pandey returns as the eponymous ‘Bae’ whose life has completely changed since she started her own news show. With other stars like Shruti Hasan and Vir Das, there is a surprise new character, ‘Nayi Behen.’ Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra and Mini Mathur complete the cast. Collin D’Cunha helms the series.

9. Lukkhe

A young sportsperson gets caught in the world of drugs as he attempts to get Punjab’s rap scene. Raashi Khanna, King, and Palak Tiwari star in this drama series directed by Himank Gaur.

10. Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya

Kay Kay Menon headlines this featuring Naveen Kasturia and Archana Puran Singh about a group of teachers coming together to renovate and revamp a government school that’s falling apart. Himank Gaur directs this star-studded show.

11. Sundar Poonam

A romantic thriller based on a true story, Sanya Malhotra and Aditya Rawal star in this Pulkit directorial. The first look really built on Malhotra’s role as a bride and we’re excited to see where the story goes.

12. Raakh

Ali Fazal, Sonali Bendre and Dibyendu Bhattacharya star in this procedural drama that examines the disappearance of two teens. It will be helmed by Prosit Roy.

13. Storm

A female-led series starring Alaya F, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma, Saba Azad, Rajit Kapoor, and Gautam Rode, Storm is about a sustainable development project that turns out to be a scam. It is directed by Ajitpal Singh (Tabbar).

14. Carnaame Badla Gear Palti Kismat

Stealing a car to clear a debt soon becomes a massive business for a group of four friends. Purav Jha, Naman Jain, Sikandar Kher, and Sai Tamhankar play major characters in this show helmed by Vinay Waikul.

15. DQ41

Dulquer Salmaan and Pooja Hegde headline this “un-conditional love story,” to be helmed by Ravi Nelakuditi. The film features two Telegu cinema favourites so expectations are rather high.

16. Jagamae Sangeetham

Prakash Raj, Madhubala, Srikanth Meka, Akshay Lagusani, Sushmita Shetty, Sijju Menon, Shafi, and Suman star in this musical drama about musical traditions from Vaikuntapuram. Some fans consider it a version of Bandish Bandits.

17. The Traitors Season 2

Karan Johar is all set to host yet another season of the superhit reality game show The Traitors. With a grand prize at stake, no one’s loyalty is stable. A Telugu version hosted by Teja Sajja will also release in 2026.

18. Anarth

A horror story starring Gulshan Devaiah, Kalki Koechlin, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Preeti Panigrahi, Sumedh Mudgalkar, Harshita Gaur, and Barkha Bisht, Anarth, first look is terrifying and nostalgic.

19. The Revolutionaries

Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta, and Gurfateh feature in this Nikkhil Advani directorial about four freedom fighters in the aftermath of the Great Revolt of 1857.

20. Rafoo

With Maniesh Paul and Angira Dhar leading this unconventional romantic drama about two exes forced to habitat close to each other, it’s bound to be fun. It will be directed by Shashank Bali.

21. Tax Department Story

Aditya Rawal, Ravi Kishen, and Barkha Singh star in this story about a Revenue Services official in Agra wanting to solve all white collar crime but struggling with the actual execution.

22. Naagzilla

Marking the return of the Ichhadhaari naag, Kartik Aryan stars in this supernatural film about a shapeshifting cobra must protect his naagmani (yes, a powerful jewel) from someone who wants to steal it.

23. Exam

Dushara Vijayan, Aditi Balan, Abbas and Vasundhara Kashyap feature in this A Sarkunam film about a woman who sets out to uncover a deep cheating scandal in the competitive examinations conducted for civil services.

24. Guvvala Cheruvu Ghat

Bharath Kamma helms this series starring Kiran Abbavaram, Thiruveer, Samyuktha Menon and Tejaswi Rao. Set in a feudal-style town, it is the story of an unknown heir creating twists to ensure he gets to become who is meant to be.

25. Vadhandhi Season 2

Sasikumar, Yashwanth and Anagha Maruthora headline this series of the Andrew Louis-directed show, this time featuring a cop who discovers a conspiracy and a wrongfully accused man in prison.

Apart from the above, Gram Chikitsalay Season 2, Aspirants Season 4, and The Pyramid Scheme are some upcoming Prime Video shows that have enticed us. Among films, Alia Bhatt and her sister, Shaheen produced Don’t Be Shy that seems interesting. O’Romeo will also premier as part of the Prime Video slate of 2026.
