The increasing paparazzi culture in India has been concerning for some celebrities. They have often spoken about their discomfort with it and how it compromises their privacy. Recently, actor Preity Zinta also spoke about the same. She highlighted events when a paparazzi appeared out of nowhere has led to scary situations for her. Preity Zinta Opens Up About Paparazzi Culture
The actor recently interacted with her fans on X. She elaborated on her answer when a fan asked what she has most compromised between fame, privacy, and peace of mind. Preity Zinta had a very optimistic view of this, and the actor said that she always saw everything as part of life lessons and that nothing was a sacrifice for her. The actor highlighted that life was all about balancing things for her, and also added that she was a very private person at the same time.
Preity Zinta went on to talk about the paparazzi culture and firmly said that she did not like paparazzi taking pictures of her children and that it was non-negotiable for her. The actor added that she mostly said yes unless she was in a hurry to catch a flight or go to a temple. However, the actor added that she was not a fan of the paparazzi moving around her and coming out of nowhere, and said that it was “scary”. Preity Zinta also acknowledged that many actors called the paparazzi to get clicked and stay relevant in the news, but clarified that it was not how she operated. As per the actor, she was okay with paparazzi being present at events, but she feels uncomfortable when the paparazzi are at the gym or outside the building. She preferred the need to stay grounded. While the actor acknowledged everyone’s love and admiration for her, she was just being honest about everything.
