Recently, actor Preity Zinta honoured the wives of the army men and donated 1 crore to the Army Wives Welfare Association. This comes after India’s recent Operation Sindoor, which was a response to the Pahalgam Terror Attack that took so many lives. Read on to know more.
What Did Preity Zinta Say?
The actor and co-owner ofthe IPL team, Punjab Kings, Preity Zinta, recently visited the South Western Command of the Indian Army. She also shared a video of the visit and a clip of her addressing the army men and their families. During the speech, the actor hailed the bravery of Indian army and the sacrifices that they make for the country. Preity Zinta went on to acknowledge the contribution of the family members and how much courage it takes to be an army man’s wife or family.
She also met many of their families. In the captions, Preity Zinta penned a long note and expressed her emotions about visiting the auditorium of the South Western Command. The actor wrote that she was moved after learning about the sacrifices of the Indian Army.

The actor also felt honoured and humbled to share the stage with the wives and families of army men. She called her contribution to the association a small token of gratitude for all the sacrifices. Preity Zinta also hoped that each citizen would find a way to express their gratitude towards the Armed Forces and all the work that they do for us.
