During a chat with The Indian Express, Prakash Padukone spoke about his granddaughter Dua Padukone Singh and shared his feelings on his daughter Deepika and Ranveer as parents. He revealed that they are very “hands-on” and that though the new mother does more for Dua, Singh helps out a lot whenever he’s not working with both of their families, also there to support them. During the chat, he admitted that he never realised how being a grandparent would change him and recalled why many people would “fuss” about their grandchildren.
Prakash Padukone stated that every time baby Dua visits him in Bengaluru, he and his wife try to make her experience a normal life instead of public attention. He also revealed that he takes her on metro rides, auto rickshaw rides, and even evening outings to local parks. Expressing his feelings about his granddaughter, the badminton champion said that she loves watching trains and mixing with people. Since she has been travelling from a young age, she says hello to everyone and is at an interesting age.
