Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a message congratulating actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna on their upcoming wedding. The couple’s nuptials will take place on February 26, 2026, at a lavish hotel in Udaipur. After weeks of speculation, the actors confirmed the marriage date. PM Modi Gives Good Wishes To Vijay And Rashika, “Journey Through Life As True Partners.”
Addressing the letter to Vijay’s parents, Madhavi and Goverdhan Rao Deverakonda, the Prime Minister of India thanked them for inviting him to Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding. He then wished both families “heartiest congratulations” on the happy occasion.
He went on to say that the wedding is the start of a new chapter in the two actors’ lives. Quoting the Sanskrit phrase, “Sakhaa Satpada Bhava”, Prime Minister Modi invoked the seven steps (perhaps pheras) to “become friends for life.” Speaking of the nuptials being a divine form of script for the couple, in addition to their scripts as actors. He hoped real life would be better than their on-screen magnetism.
Concluding by blessing Rashmika and Vijay on the occasion, he added his hope that they have many years of dreams coming true, and share everything as they go through life “as true partners.” Though he is unable to attend the wedding due to his State visit to Israel, he offered his wishes and blessings to the ‘Virosh’ pair.

As mentioned above, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s wedding is taking place in Udaipur at the Mememtos By ITC Hotels. The property is located in the Aravalli Hills, and glimpses of pre-wedding activities have fans super excited.
