Park Si-Hoo Returns After Ten-Year Hiatus As Allegations From Influencer Case Resurface

Famous South Korean actor Park Si-hoo is all set to make his grand return to the big screen almost ten years after starring in a film. And amid this occasion, the 49-year-old has addressed his long absence and allegations at a press conference held on December 8 to promote his upcoming film Choir of God. The press event revealed Park Si-hoo’s first publichoir c response to the accusations made about him by an influencer. For the unversed, the content creator had alleged that the actor had played a role in an affair that led to the dissolution of her marriage. The actor’s legal team at the HyeMyung Law Firm have filed a defamation complaint against them, citing violation of information protection laws as per The Chosun Daily.
Speaking about the case briefly, Park said, “I have mixed feelings about discussing personal matters here. I apologise to the director and fellow actors.” He also alleged that the allegations were false and were currently under police investigation, adding that he would let the legal process address the matter. No further discussion happened at the briefing as per the portal.

In Choir of God, Park plays Park Gyo-soon, a major in the North Korean State Security Department assigned to create a fictitious religious choir to obtain foreign exchange in the face of international sanctions.
