Viewers List Reasons Why Park Seo Joon’s Surely Tomorrow Drama Failed To Impress Them!

Park Seo Joon made his highly anticipated return to the romance k-drama genre this year with the show Surely Tomorrow. This was Seo Joon’s first rom-com project in several years, and fans were very excited to see him in the role again. However, after a couple of episodes of the drama are out, reactions to it have been mixed. Viewers feel that the drama does not meet their expectations, and it also suffers from low viewership ratings. Read on to know more.

Park Seo Joon’s Surely Tomorrow Receives Low Viewership Ratings

Park Seo Joon’s Surely Tomorrow started airing on 6th December. Episode 1 of the show received a 2.7% viewership rating,  slightly raised to 3.3% in episode two. These ratings for a Park Seo Joon drama are considered quite low, as he is one of South Korea’s most popular actors. This is also Seo Joon’s first romance in seven years after What’s Wrong With Secretry Kim.

From the reviews for Surely Tomorrow, there are two main reasons why viewers are disappointed with the show. First reason being the drama’s “lacklustre” script and unconvincing character development that failed to get viewers engaged.

Another problem that viewers came across in Surely Tomorrow was Park Seo Joon’s age gap with the female lead of the show, Won Ji An. There is an 11-year age gap between the actors. Seo Joon also plays a 20-year-old in the drama, and viewers think that a younger actor could have been cast instead of Seo Joon.

However, since only two episodes of the K-drama have been released, there is a chance that the story will get more engaging in the latter half, resulting in high viewership.
