Paparazzi Upset Over Jaya Bachachan’s ‘Gandi Pant’ Remark, Refuse To Cover Grandson Agastya Nanda’s Ikkis!

Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan’s banter with the paparazzi has always become the talk of the town. And in recent events, she said that she had ‘zero relationship’ with them. Since then, the matter escalated with famous paparazzi expressing their disappointment in her remarks. This even led to them threatening to boycott the family, saying that they are always the ones to cover Amitabh Bachchan every Sunday. They even questioned whether they should provide coverage to her grandson Agastya Nanda’s upcoming film Ikkis.

Some prominent paparazzi photographers like Manav Manglani, Viral Bhayani, Pallav Paliwal, and Varinder Chawla have shared their opinions on Jaya Bachchan’s ‘gande pant’ remark about them. A member of Viral Bhayani’s team reacted to the insult, saying, “We have never abused any celebrity. We know what we are doing, and we are also human beings.”
Pallav Paliwal pointed out how judging one based on their appearance was wrong, especially for people who work day and night. The paparazzo pointed out how Jaya Bachchan didn’t even consider them from the media, but rather just ‘social media’ and suggested that she herself could promote her grandson’s upcoming film without any help. He concluded by saying, “You are such a big celebrity, you shouldn’t have said this.”

Varinder Chawla said he has always respected celebrity requests, including not posting a 2023 clip where Amitabh Bachchan pushed away a fan asking for a selfie. He noted that stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Deepika’s family have done the same. He added that many people filming aren’t real paps and urged against harsh criticism, telling his team to maintain their dignity and avoid those who disrespect them.

At a recent event, Jaya Bachchan questioned the credibility and training of the people who constantly film celebrities. She said she respects genuine media because she grew up around it, but criticised those who show up in shabby clothes with phones and behave poorly, wondering about their background, education, and the comments they make.
