Initially slated for release on 2 July, the show will now be available to watch on 24 June due to overwhelming demand from fans. This change in date resulted from a fan voting campaign in which viewers expressed their enthusiasm and affection for Panchayat. The trailer gives viewers a sneak peek into the lives of the Pullera village residents. Stakes are high this season as the upcoming elections for the next Pradhan are soon to be held. A fierce battle between Manju Devi and Kranti Devi leads to an intense face-off between essentially every person in the village as they are compelled to choose sides. However, despite all the drama, Panchayat season 4 does not seem to miss out on its iconic humour that the show is known for. As the village transforms into an election campaign battle, hilarity ensues as our favourite Sachiv Ji and his squad scramble to win the votes for Manju Devi.
The much-anticipated romance between Abhishek and the Pradhan’s daughter Rinky is also hinted at in the trailer. Fans have been rooting for the couple since season one, and their slow-burn relationship has become the bane of everyone’s existence. And in true Panchayat fashion, the teaser also gives a glimpse into some emotional moments that will touch the viewer’s hearts.
