What Is The Public Saying?

The series is back with the much-needed dose of comedy, our favourite characters and is a continuation of the last season. Twitter users have a lot of things to say and have given their balanced review of the series.
One user hailed the series for being a “masterclass in storytelling, screenplay and emotion”. The user also hailed Panchayat’s new season for evoking various feelings.
.#PanchayatSeason4 is not just a show it’s an institution of cinema.
A masterclass in storytelling, screenplay & emotion
It makes you laugh, it makes you cry every frame speaks. Some victories don’t bring joy
Some victories hurt more than defeats
That’s real. That’s #Panchayat pic.twitter.com/YT5fiRmVBu— Kushagra Saxena🇮🇳 (@KushagraSaxena_) June 24, 2025
Another user thanked the makers for giving them yet another season filled with a roller-coaster ride of emotions.

One Twitter user also felt that the new season has continued to maintain the charm and innocence of the show.
However, there is a major chunk of Twitter users who did not like the show. Panchayat season 4 failed to meet the expectations of the viewers, and the users have also given reasons for that. A user wrote that Panchayat season 4 depended heavily on politics, and the story was dragged unnecessarily. Viewers are also disappointed with the show’s ending this time, and are not ready for the next season. Here are a few Twitter reviews.
I recently watched *Panchayat* Season 4, and it didn’t leave the same impact as the previous three seasons. It felt like the acting, screenplay, and direction had changed somewhat, with the simplicity that characterized earlier seasons noticeably absent.#panchayatseason4 pic.twitter.com/t2dn7gOJCH

#PanchayatS4 was very good but it is being unnecessarily dragged on for too long. Prahlad was made the MLA candidate, Kranti Devi won the election. There is no logic in this. This series should have ended in the same season.
We are not ready for season 5.#PanchayatOnPrime— Vivek Singh🇮🇳 (@imviveksingh09) June 24, 2025
Panchayat Season 4 lost its comic charm & leaned too much into politics.
While emotional moments were decent, the signature humor was missing.
A few standout scenes, but overall it felt dragged and lacked spark. Had potential, but underwhelming.#panchayatseason4 pic.twitter.com/FG7ZsLlFoR

Sorry to say, but Panchayat Season 4 is a letdown. The election drama feels overstuffed, with too much chaos and unnecessary complexity in the scenes. It lost the charm and simplicity we loved. #PanchayatSeason4
