Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana was all set to marry the love of her life, Palash Muchhal, but the universe had other plans. Things took a bitter turn after her father suffered a mild heart attack, followed by the groom-to-be’s hospitalisation. All this lost the plot after many cheating allegations against the composer started making rounds on the internet. And amid chaos, Palash’s mother has revealed whether the festivities have been cancelled or not.

Palash Muchhal’s mother, Amrita Muchhal, told Hindustan Times, “Since haldi was done, we didn’t let him go outside. Rote rote ek dum tabiyat karab ho gai. 4 ghante hospital mein rakhna padha. IV drip chadi, ECG hua aur dosre tests hoye. Sab normal aay,e but stress bahut hai.” He was admitted to a hospital in Sangli, Mandhana’s hometown, where the wedding was happening. She also broke her silence on whether her son’s wedding was cancelled.
Amita said that both Smriti and Palash were very distressed by the chain of unexpected events that happened on their wedding day. She recalled her son’s dream of bringing his bride home soon and how they had a special welcome planned for Mandhana. Despite the health emergencies of the cricketer’s father, Amita said that everything will go back to how it was supposed to be and that their wedding will take place soon after that. She also revealed that her son shared a close bond with his future father-in-law, Shriniwas Mandhana. She said that he was closer to him than Smriti herself.
So when he fell ill, Palash decided to postpone the wedding before Smriti, stating that he would not proceed until he recovered. He is currently recovering after his sudden hospitalisation, just like his father-in-law. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know.
