Speaking with Hindustan Times, Palash’s mother, Amita Muchhal gave the update that her son was back in Mumbai. She also stated that Palash was attached to Smriti’s father, adding that the music composer and her dad shared a very close bond. She claimed that they were closer than the cricketer was to her father. Amita said that when her dad fell ill, it was Palash’s decision to not move ahead with the wedding until his health gets better.
She further also revealed that Palash cried continuously for four hours and it took a toll on his health. He was in the hospital for four hours, during which he was given an IV drip; ECG and other tests were done, added Amita Palash. It was revealed that the test reports turned out to be normal but everyone was stressed. Amita shared that her son and Smriti were shaken emotionally because of this situation. Palash’s mother updated that her son was doing better but he is still stressed, adding that his sister Palak Muchhal had left Sangli to be with him.
