Around January of 2022, Palak Tiwari was seen walking out of a restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai with Ibrahim Ali Khan. While Ibrahim was seen nonchalantly sitting in the car, Palak could be seen actively hiding her face from the paps by turning away and covering her face with her hands.

Palak has recently opened up regarding the incident and her reason for wanting to not be seen is hilarious and painfully relatable. She said that she wasn’t hiding from the paps but actually her mother Shweta Tiwari. She allegedly lied to Shweta that she had already left Bandra an hour before the pictures were released and were late due to traffic. However, the pictures confirmed that she was indeed lying which Shweta was really mad about. Palak did end up apologizing to her mother for the lies.
The video brought along a lot of speculation regarding Ibrahim and Palak’s relationship, terming them as the hot new couple of B-Town. Palak has put a rest to these rumours and said that they are simply friends. According to Hindustan Times she said, “We are nice friends. He is a very sweet guy. That’s all there is to it. We talk sometimes and that’s all.”
Palak also recently spoke about the double standards in the entertainment industry regarding beauty and grooming. When asked about the importance of grooming, she said that it is important to help with one’s confidence, especially in an industry that requires you to look your best at all times. Moreover, she said that the beauty standards are so contradictory that you can never please an audience.
