Ahead of the release of his upcoming film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, the actor came under fire after Shweta Tiwari’s daughter and Salman’s co-star revealed that the actor has a rule on the sets that all women are dressed modestly and are not wearing deep necklines. This revelation led to severe backlash for Salman Khan. And now, in a fresh statement, Palak Tiwari claimed that her statement has been misunderstood.

Palak Tiwari claimed that her statement that has gone viral on the internet has been “misunderstood”. The actress clarified that she simply wanted to share that she has set a rule about how she dresses around people senior to her who she also idolises. Further, she stated that Salman Khan is one of person she has grown up idolising.

ICYMI, during a chat show, Palak Tiwari shared that Salman Khan had a rule against girls wearing low necklines on the sets. She recalled the time when she worked as an AD on the sets of Salman Khan’s Antim, he had a rule that all women on the set should be covered. Palak said that while Salman Khan said that girls can wear whatever they like, they need to be protected when they’re working around men who they don’t know. She also revealed that Salman Khan is a traditionalist.

Now, we understand that Palak Tiwari is making her big Bollywood debut with Salman Khan in his upcoming film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan but we can’t seem to digest this clarification. I mean, how does this change how misogynistic this rule is? Let’s cover all women because we don’t trust unknown men but we’re not going to teach men to behave themselves, are we?
