Fans have shown concern about Smriti Mandhana after the cricketer’s wedding got postponed due to a series of unfortunate events. There were many reports and speculations around it, too, but singer Palak Muchhal has finally addressed it. Palak took to her social media handle and penned a note. In this note, she informed the fans that Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal’s wedding was postponed due to the health issues of the cricketer’s dad. She further requested for privacy in these sensitive times.
For the unversed, Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal’s wedding was going to take place on November 23. The pre-wedding rituals were happening in the cricketer’s hometown, Sangli, Maharashtra. As per some news reports, Smriti’s father suffered a heart attack and was immediately rushed to the hospital. He was kept under observation and going by the updates on the same, his health was stable. The very next day, reports about Palash Muchhal visiting the hospital due to a viral infection also made headlines. However, as per a NDTV report, it was nothing serious, and he was back home after a check up.
