Everyone must already be aware of Chalamet’s hot take on ballet and opera. Oscar host Conan O’Brien claimed security was tight at the Oscars 2026 to prevent angry members of the “opera and ballet community” from attacking. Concluding jazz creators must be upset at their exclusion, O’Brien wrapped up his mini-Chalamet roast. The actor seemed to take it in good spirits, however!
Anne Hathaway And Anna Wintour’s The Devil Wears Prada Moment
The Academy Awards for Best Costume Design and Best Makeup and Hairstyling (both of which went to Frankenstein) were presented by Wintour and Hathaway. Then, in a nod to the upcoming sequel to The Devil Wears Prada, the former Vogue editor called the actress Emily. Considering Anna Wintour is the blueprint for Miranda, this was a neat little easter egg to build hype for the upcoming movie.
Leo DiCaprio Creates Another Meme, This Time On Purpose
Conan O’Brien called out DiCaprio’s accidental meme-worthy face and asked him to create a new one for fans and audiences. Aptly titled, “TFW you didn’t agree to this,” the actor’s surprised expression embodied both his feelings and the meme perfectly. Fans were amused, and so were we.
Robert Downey Jr. And Chris Evans Celebrated 14 Years Of Avengers
It has been 14 years since the ragtag group of Avengers first came together to retrieve the Tessaract. Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr., the two main leads, presented the awards for Best Original and Best Adapted Screenplay together. While Evans said he would give Downey a signed copy of the script, Downey procured a silver thong as a gift, proclaiming it was from Channing Tatum’s Magic Mike. Very in character for the duo, who reunite in 2026’s Avengers: Doomsday.
Michael B. Jordon’s First Win At The Oscars, Everyone Liked That!
The Sinners actor won for his portrayal of the Smokestack twins. Michael B. Jordon’s debut Oscar led to an emotional speech. Starting by thanking director Ryan Coogler, he mentioned the Black actors who had won big at the Academy Awards before him: Sidney Poitier, Denzel Washington, Halle Berry, Jamie Foxx, Forest Whitaker, and Will Smith. He said he was there due to his ancestors and the “people that came before [him].” Aww!
Paul Thomas Anderson FINALLY Gets His Laurels
28 eight years after his first nomination, the screenwriter and director received three Oscars, and joked that the Academy makes one “work hard” to receive an award. Winning big for One Battle After Another, it was wonderful to see someone who waited so long to get what they deserve.
Apart from these, the ‘Golden’ moment was the KPop Demon Hunters’ lightsticks held up by the attendees. A wonderful connection between Western and Korean cultures, this one drew eyeballs. EJAE and KPDH won awards at the Oscars 2026, but HUNTR/X has won all our hearts!
