Although Orry did not directly mention the ongoing investigation in his post, netizens were quick to link it to his questioning earlier in the day. The comments section was soon flooded with reactions, with several noting how timely it was. One said that he seemed to be “posting during a questioning break.” Another one commented, “Ppl hating on you while you party.” When one sarcastically asked how he was posting “from jail,” Orry replied wittily, “It’s called Wi-Fi.”
Earlier in the day, Orry appeared before the Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Mumbai Police for questioning in the high-profile drugs bust case, wherein 126.14 kg of mephedrone, valued at Rs 252 crore, was seized. Several videos surfaced online, showing Orry getting mobbed by crowds and the paparazzi as he exited the ANC office premises.
