Orry Appears Before Mumbai Anti-Narcotics Cell In Rs 252 Crore Drugs Case; Gets Mobbed
Earlier this month, Orry was summoned for questioning in response to charges made by alleged drug trafficker Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh.
In a major update in the Rs 252 crore drug trafficking case involving many Bollywood celebrities, Orhan Awatramani, aka Orry, appeared before the Ghatkopar Unit of the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Crime Branch for questioning. A second summons was issued to him by the ANC, directing him to join the investigation. He was previously summoned on November 20, but he informed the agency that he was not available til November 20. After this, the second summons was again issued, requiring him to appear on November 26.
Orry In Drug Trafficking Case
The ANC is anticipated to record Orry’s comments as part of its continuing investigation into the high-profile narcotics syndicate. As he arrived for questioning, Orry was surrounded by onlookers and paparazzi gathered outside the building, pushing for images and recordings. Despite the pandemonium, the influencer managed his way through the mob, avoiding posing or providing quotes to the media.

Several photos showed Orry being surrounded and closely escorted through a densely packed throng. Several cameras are pointing at him, and microphones are evident. Orry is seen sporting glasses and a brown-patterned shirt. On Tuesday, Siddhanth Kapoor, the brother of actor Shraddha Kapoor, appeared before the Anti-Narcotics Cell about a ₹252-crore drug case.

Earlier this month, Orry was summoned for questioning in response to charges made by alleged drug trafficker Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh, who was recently deported from Dubai and has alleged ties to the Dawood Ibrahim gang. According to officers quoted by the Hindustan Times, Shaikh claimed during interrogation that he had organised lavish parties in Dubai and Mumbai for several high-profile figures, including Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhant Kapoor, filmmakers Abbas-Mustan, rapper Loka, Orry, and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique.
