‘Om: The Battle Within’ Trailer: Aditya Roy Kapur Looks Glorious As Para Commander While Sanjana Sanghi Looks Like A Misfit
There have been several movies and series made on national security, India’s defence and the nuclear front of late. Well, there is going an additional to that list as the upcoming film Om: The Battle Within has a similar plot. The trailer of this upcoming action-drama film was dropped on June 10. The movie is directed by Kapil Verma and produced by Paperdoll Entertainment Inc. The star cast of the film includes Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjana Sanghi, Jackie Shroff, Prakash Raj, Ashutosh Rana and Prachee Shah, all essaying prominent roles. Here’s all about the trailer.
Om: The Battle Within’s Trailer Released
The trailer begins with Prachee Shah’s character mourning the loss of her sons – one who is dead and the other has completely forgotten her. The next frame shows Jackie Shroff who is a nuclear scientist getting kidnapped and accused of betraying the nation. And then, the titular character of the film Om aka Aditya Roy Kapur is introduced in a quite fashionable manner with his first dialogue being ‘Jai Bhavani’. What ensues next is an action-packed sequence of Om throwing punches left, right and centre.

But one bullet hits his head and he falls into the sea. Om wakes up in the hospital and he has no memory of the recent events that took place but only happens to remember his father being taken away. Om showcases brutal strength that even after both his hands are tied, he manages to beat the baddies to a pulp! He then makes his life’s mission to prove to the country that his father was not a traitor.

Well, those who are action movies fans will be in for a treat as the movie seems to have more action than plot. Aditya looks great in the role of a para commander while Sanjana Sanghi oddly does not fit well. Om: The Battle Within releases in theatres on July 1, 2022.
