O’Romeo Trailer: Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri Tease A Dark Romance Saga But Avinash Tiwary Has Our Full Attention!

The much-awaited trailer for Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri’s O’Romeo dropped on January 21, 2026, and it has taken over the internet. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the film features a strong cast like Avinash Tiwary, Nana Patekar, Farida Jalal, Tamannaah Bhatia, Disha Patani, Vikrant Massey in a special appearance, and more. The trailer is three minutes and eight seconds long and begins with Avinash Tiwary’s character pointing out how Shahid Kapoor’s character Hussain Ustara has changed and become like a twisted Romeo. Triptii Dimri plays Afsha, a strong woman who is out for revenge and seeks Hussain Ustara’s help for a dangerous job. Following which, the story turns complicated when Hussain falls deeply for Afsha, but his feelings lead to obsession and trouble since she does not feel the same.

Well, we are excited to see Shahid Kapoor back in a dark, quirky and unhinged avatar. He looks very commanding and the chemistry between him and Triptii Dimri? It’s intense and too good! Supporting actors like Avinash Tiwary and Nana Patekar’s strong presence stand out and keep us hooked.

The visuals feel raw with plenty of blood and action, while the songs bring energy and passion. Many fans have shared positive reactions towards the film’s trailer. One user wrote, “His aura is insane!” Another user wrote, “Omggg, not ready for this!”

Still, we feel that it’s the same old and outdated scenes that we have seen in other action dramas. So, in that sense, it doesn’t feel fresh or mind-blowing.

Well, the film will hit the theatres just a day before Valentine’s Day on February 13, 2026.
