Chawarin Perdpiriyawong, popularly known as Nunew, is one of Thailand’s most beloved young and rising actors. He first gained stardom when he starred in the hit Boys’ Love show Cutie Pie, along with co-star Zee Pruk.
Nunew also debuted as a solo singer in July 2023. His songs immediately went viral and topped multiple charts across Thailand. The actor also held his very first solo concert titled DREAM CATCHER.
Nunew is also performing at the 2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer ‘UNIPOP’ Festival, a two-day music event featuring top K-pop acts like NCT 127 and TXT. He will be the only Thai performer present at the festival.
Though now a global star, Nunew’s journey started with humble beginnings. The 23-year-old actor once shared that after a lot of struggle, he got himself a role in a major television series, only for it to be cancelled.
Nunew talked about how no one seemed to notice him, and it was very hard for the actor. But Nunew’s journey serves as an inspiration for many as it is a story of perseverance and hard work.
