And comedian Tanmay Bhat has topped the list as the richest YouTuber in the country with an estimated net worth of Rs 665 crore. He is famous for his reaction videos to memes featuring several of his friends, like Aishwarya Mohanraj and Rohan Joshi. Many big stars like Vicky Kaushal have also featured on the show.
Tanmay Bhat Becomes India’s Richest YouTuber
As per Tech Informer’s data, Tanmay Bhat has an estimated net worth of Rs 665 Crores. Followed by him is Gaurav Chaudhary aka Technical Guruji, with an estimated net worth of Rs 356 crore. Comedian Samay Raina, a well-known stand-up comic and chess streamer, is third with Rs 140 crore, while CarryMinati (Ajey Nagar), one of India’s most popular creators, is fourth with Rs 131 crore.
Bhuvan Bam (BB Ki Vines) ranks fifth with Rs 122 crore, followed by Amit Bhadana (Rs 80 crore), Triggered Insaan (Rs 65 crores), Dhruv Rathee (Rs 60 crore), BeerBiceps’ Ranveer Allahbadia (Rs 58 crore), and Sourav Joshi (Rs 50 crore) in the top ten. According to an EY analysis, India’s digital influencer market is expected to exceed Rs 3,000 crore by 2026, thanks to rising internet penetration and Gen-Z viewing.
According to the research, Indian YouTubers are now wealthier than conventional entertainment personalities. On Monday, August 25, the Supreme Court ordered comedian Samay Raina and four other stand-up comedians to offer an unequivocal apology for their insensitive remarks about disabilities. Aside from Samay, Vipul Goyal, Balraj Paramjeet Singh Ghai, Nishant Jagdsish Tanwar, and Sonali Thakkar will apologise on their YouTube channels for their insulting remarks, according to ANI.
