As per the media reports, Badshah spoke about his upcoming opening performance at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. In a press note, the rapper stated that he was very excited to be a part of the global celebration of entertainment, culture and sport. He also shared that just like cricket, music brings people together, adding that coundn’t wait to bring his energy to the incredible stage.
Rishab Rikhiram Sharma reportedly revealed always believing that the sitar belonged in bold, unexpected spaces; in places that don’t just change how people view it, but how they respect it. He added that opening for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 was not something he imagined but it’s a power-packed step to take Indian music to a global stage. He expressed being thrilled to share his sound during the historic moment. Rishab also said that he was honoured to share the stage with maestro Sivamani alongside 60,0000 fans who’d be attending.
