Nick Jonas Recalls Daughter’s Premature Birth, Says He And Priyanka Chopra Did 12-Hour Shifts

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are a family of three, and their adorable pictures always breaks the internet. However, the couple had faced a lot of complications during their daughter, Malti Marie’s premature birth. The stars have spoken about the same several times, but recently, Nick Jonas spoke at length about how weak their daughter was after her birth, and this only breaks our hearts. What Did Nick Jonas Say?
Nick Jonas recently appeared on Jay Shetty’s podcast where he spoke about their daughter Malti Marie’s premature birth. As per the singer, their daughter’s birth was expected in April but they suddenly got a call from the hospital about her early arrival. Nick Jonas further added that their daughter only weighed 1 pound, 11 ounces and looked purple. The singer got emotional while recalling these difficult times. Malti Marie was taken care of in NICU and as per Nick, he and Priyanka Chopra did 12 hours shift in the hospital for almost 3.5 months. The singer also added that it was Covid-19 times, and called those days ‘comforting’ and equally ‘frightening.’
Malti Marie had six blood transfusions and she slowly gained weight. Nick Jonas revealed that they took Malti Marie home after 3.5 months. He hailed their daughter for fighting bravely through the tough times.
