On the 8th engagement anniversary, Nick Jonas took to his Instagram and shared a story that featured a selfie he took on the said day. Although Priyanka Chopra’s face is not fully visible in the photo, upon seeing it once, we can make out that it’s the actress. In the picture, the singer held her hand while looking directly at the camera as the actress flaunted her huge diamond ring. For the caption, Nick sweetly wrote, “8 years ago she said yes,” and added a ring emoji. Nick Jonas Shares His Engagement Story!
In the recent episode of Hey, Jonas podcast, Priyanka Chopra arrived as a guest, during which Nick Jonas revealed how he got down on one knee at midnight after her birthday. As they were travelling, their flight got delayed, which put them back 3-4 hours. This left Nick constantly calculating, which prompted Priyanka to ask why he was so stressed. After arriving in Greece, he recalled that he was looking at the clock the entire time and thinking that this was going to be a disaster and that he was not going to get that right. Later, at around 2:30 am, Priyanka suggested they go to sleep, but this was when Nick revealed that he had one more gift for her. He went back to the room, grabbed the ring, and proposed to the actress! Further, Nick also revealed that Priyanka didn’t say yes right away, as she was staring at him. He then asked if he should put the ring on. Priyanka shared that he put the ring on first and then she said yes. In case you didn’t know, the musician and the Barfi star tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie, via surrogacy in 2022.
