On July 24, 2025, the third court hearing between the K-pop group NewJeans (also known as NJZ) and their agency, ADOR, took place at the Seoul Central District Court. The open court session saw legal representatives from both sides present arguments and revelations. Read on to know all about the legal battle below.
1. Willing To Come Back On This Condition
NewJeans, aka NJZ’s legal team, stated that ADOR, which is now run by HYBE people, isn’t the same as when Min Hee-jin led it and helped NewJeans succeed. The group doesn’t trust ADOR anymore and feels upset just going near ADOR’s building.
2. Antidepressant Pills
It was also revealed that some members need medicine for stress. This has left many fans disheartened. The K-pop group’s legal team also compared going back to ADOR to a bullied person being forced to face their bully. They also said that the staff who supported them left, and meanwhile ADOR doesn’t listen to them.
3. CCTV Footage Details
Furthermore, they also brought up the topic of CCTV footage. NJZ’s legal team stated that the footage of Hanni going into a building was present, but the video of her leaving was gone, which made her look like she lied. They claimed it as proof that ADOR doesn’t protect them.
