During the live, she revealed a series of strict rules she had to follow, including leaving messages before using the restroom, even during breaks, and being constantly monitored in the practice room. She also recalled having to take pictures of her meals before consuming them and sending them to her manager for approval.
Furthermore, Danielle expressed her concern for current trainees, particularly those starting at a young age. She emphasised that while not all trainees face such extreme situations, some may experience constant comparison and ranking, which can be emotionally damaging. She stressed the importance of treating trainees and artists with respect and dignity, regardless of their dreams or aspirations. Danielle also expressed her gratitude to Min Hee Jin for helping them leave their former company.

Reacting to her live, many users shared their opinions. One user wrote, “15 year Industry veteran Min Hee Jin is shocked at the way trainees were treated lol.” In response, another user added, “Honestly, that’s my thought too! It’s not that I’m invalidating what Danielle said, if that’s really true, but the part where MHJ is shocked seems off. SM Entertainment was treating their trainees just as badly when MHJ was working there.” While others appreciated her saying, “Good one Danielle of NJZ, for speaking out and showing empathy towards young trainees and artists.”
