Netizens are always quick to point out things that do not sit well with them. This often includes intimate scenes between co-actors, especially when there is a big age difference and if one of them is a minor. Talking about the same, recently a scene from the Choti Umar Bada Safar TV show went viral for a rather problematic scene between actors Yashika Sharma, who is reportedly 16 years old and Himanshu Awasthy, 24.
Choti Umar Bada Safar Problematic Scene
Choti Umar Bada Safar’s episode, which aired on Wednesday, featured Himanshu Awasthy’s character Sameer removing his kurti and pulling his co-star Yashika Sharma, 16, who plays Rimjhim, close. He then makes her wear his kurti while tightening her blouse strings from the back. Many social media users took notice of this particular scene and hopped online to talk about it. As many may have guessed it, the intimate moment between the two characters did not sit well with people and they called out the creators of the show. Understandably so!
Netizens React
Social media users left no crumbs while calling out the show. A person on Reddit questioned why the creators of the shows don’t get age-appropriate actresses anymore. Many demanded that the show be cancelled. On the other hand, a person took a step ahead and registered a complaint against the TV serial.
It’s worth mentioning that this is not the first Indian television show to be called out by social media users. Previously, netizens have called out Pehredaar Piya Ki, Uttaran and more for their problematic storyline. As of now, the Choti Umar Bada Safar creators have responded to the backlash garnered by the intimate scene between main characters Sameer and Rimjhim.
